It’s hard for me to think that I have been shooting newborns long enough to have one my VERY FIRST newborns come back as a big brother! I shot Drew’s newborn session in December of 2013! Crazy to think, right?
Chase’s session was a breeze! It took a little to get him settled, but once he was asleep we had an amazing session! One of mom’s request was a Tonka Truck setup. We wanted to do it for Drew’s newborn, but I wasn’t experienced enough to do it properly. For Chase, I took a picture of the truck WITHOUT Chase on it. I was not comfortable putting him inside of it. Then, I took a picture of Chase on my beanbag and Photoshopped him onto the truck! Magic! Newborn safety is a priority for me and I will always choose a composite over risking the baby’s well being. Plus, the truck was metal and cold! I was guaranteed to have Chase be more cooperative outside the truck!
I am looking back at these images and wondering where this year went! I can’t believe we are shooting his cake smash in just a few weeks!
