Ryan and Sarah welcomed their beautiful baby girl in September. A few months before, we headed down the shore to Long Beach Island and shot their maternity session at Barnegat Lighthouse. It was a gorgeous day with an amazing sunset!
I have known Sarah since kindergarten! We both grew up in the same small town and were the best of friends. Sleepovers with scary movies, dancing to Spice Girl songs… we knew how to have fun! Here is a picture of us from 1998! Whoa, talk about a flashback!!
Our lives moved on, but the best part about being from a small town is we never really lost touch with each other. So, when Sarah contacted me about wanting pictures of her daughter, it was like no time had passed!
Ryan and Sarah are amazing together! Sarah can be shy and quiet but Ryan, he is definitely the exact opposite! He knows how to bring out the best in Sarah. There is never a dull moment with Ryan!
We met at Barnegat Lighthouse, on the very north tip of Long Beach Island last summer. It was hot, but there was a nice sea breeze coming off the ocean. The lighthouse is a pretty popular place on LBI, especially around sunset, but we didn’t have any problems getting some alone time.
Until I can get my toes back in the sand, I’m going to sit back and enjoy looking back on their maternity session!
