Newborn Girl Session | Avery Grace

Caitlin & Brett welcomed their newborn girl into the world in January.  They are a pretty laid back couple and gave me free reign over colors and schemes for Miss Avery’s session.  I had had this Whippoorwill Nest bonnet for quite some time and I have been waiting for the perfect baby to use it on!  Avery rocked her first setup and even gave us a small smirk!

The second setup I choose was this beautiful coral lace backdrop and I paired it with a white Vanilla Lullaby tieback.  I adore this look because it is a clean and classic look without being too boring!

After those two setups, this baby girl just about had it.  After trying to settle her, we decided to reschedule and finish her session later that week.

So, the new family came back to my studio and we attempted some more setups.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE using the real floors in my house as a backdrop!  They pair so well with wooden baskets.

Well, now it is pretty safe to say Miss Avery is not a huge fan of getting her picture taken!!  So we decided to rock a few awake shots and this is when I get to show the baby’s personality!
