A summer wedding at Pennsauken Country club featuring teal and pink bridal party, converse shoes and lots of dancing!
Bryan and Michele FINALLY got married last May on a gorgeous day over Memorial Day weekend at Pennsauken Country Club. These high school sweethearts have been together for over fifteen years and have a gorgeous daughter together!
Michele’s girls all gathered at the bride’s aunt’s house early in the morning for some hair and makeup. The bridesmaids got dressed in teal, while the maid of honor, Michele’s daughter and her best friend put on pink. Even with the different colors, everyone, including the bride herself, put on a pair of comfy converse sneakers! After everyone was dressed and ready, we stepped outside and we were on the banks of the Rancocas Creek. It was the perfect background for portraits of the girls. Michele had each of her bridesmaids write on a chalkboard sign how they met her! It was great to see such friendships last the test of time!
While the girls were getting ready, the guys were relaxing at Bryan’s auto body shop. They even did a burnout in his classic car. I am not a car person, so I’m not even going to pretend to know what kind of car he has, but feel free to let me know in the comments if you recognize it!
We all met at Pennsauken Country Club just in time for the ceremony. Bryan even surprised the girls with a limo! Luckily, the rain clouds stayed away long enough for an outdoor ceremony and portraits afterwards. (It was pouring when I left to go home!) The ceremony started off without a hitch…. until we forgot the rings in the bridal suite! I will never forget the bridesmaids trying to mouth to me they left the rings in the suite, but by the time I figured out what was going on…. it was time for the ring exchange! It was a good laugh and the wedding coordinator ran to grab them.
The reception was a great time! Awesome food, loud music and a packed dance floor! However, the most special moment of the entire day was when Michele shared a dance with her mother. There was not a dry eye in the room when one by one, friends and family joined in on their dance. Unfortunately, a few months after their wedding, Michele’s mom passed after losing her battle with cancer. I know from heaven, she is reliving that special moment over and over! It was truly magical to watch!
Take a look into Bryan and Michele’s magical wedding day and share in the laughs and the tears.
